From a very young age, Mike has loved building things. When he was 8 he started requesting power tools for birthday and Christmas gifts and at 13, with the help of his father, built his own workshop in the backyard which was even featured in the American How-To magazine.
Mike always dreamed of becoming a custom home builder and was sure that would be his path after taking a carpentry class twice in high school where he helped build two homes from start to finish. However, after college he was offered a job in another industry which was too good to pass on. Although his professional career took a detour, Mike never stopped building, fixing or remodeling. In his spare time, he has finished a few basements, built a few decks, replaced a roof, landscaped a few yards and completed many remodeling projects involving intricate trim and cabinet work.
After years of hearing friends, family and neighbors tell Mike he should build homes, Mike decided it was time to follow that dream. Mike is very meticulous and pays attention to the details. He’s the guy you’ll find with a shop vac cleaning wall cavities before they are closed off by drywall.
When he’s not playing with his power tools, Mike enjoys boating, snowboarding and spending time with his family.
